2: Selfridges x LOANHOOD Swapshop

Opens: 10th - 30th July 2023

Address: 400 Oxford St, London W1A 1AB, UK

One of our April Soapbox | Landsec competition finalists and circular fashion brand LOANHOOD has recently teamed up with the historical department store Selfridges. As part of Selfridge's Worn Again program, LOANHOOD has partnered with Selfridges for a few nation-wide pop-up events this summer.

The online clothes exchange community LOANHOOD will host their London swap shop at the Selfridges Oxford Street flagship store from the 10th of July. The Swap Shop offers shoppers the option to drop by with their pre-loved clothes and trade them in for tokens.

These tokens can then be used to 'shop' a curated selection of secondhand pieces. A team of 2nd hand, clothing appraisal experts will be at the pop-up to value your clothing items. You can exchange up to five pieces worth £5 – £300. This will mark the first time Selfridges has ever run an initiative like this, and it may be the last; the pop-up is on for just three weeks, so don't miss out.
